What is “Ghost Theatre” exactly?

We are much more than a production company that specializes in theatre and film. We have 3 cores to our company that we are passionate about and believe will always be the pillars of our company.

1) The Ghosts Of The Theatre - We believe in honoring the great artists of the past but also shining a light on voices that do not always have the spotlight that they desire. There are two types of “ghosts” in theatre. There are the great artists of the past who may have passed on, but their work is forever floating in the artistic landscape. The other is the struggling artists that feel invisible and unseen. We want to help provide a voice to them as well.

2) Storytelling - The art of storytelling remains the centric piece of any successful and beloved artistic experience. One of the oldest and most simple forms of storytelling is “ghost stories.” Sitting around a campfire or on the edge of a bed and telling someone a dark and mysterious story. Many great stories have been derived from this format. There are many complicated pieces and parts of all art forms but at the end of the day, all we have to do is tell people a story.

3) G.H.O.S.T - For us, GHOST also translates to the Great Honor Of Staged Theatre. We cherish the historical importance of theatre and how all forms of storytelling started there and have progressed and evolved since.
